Two classes are being offered during our Lenten/Spring Bible Study.  Nancy Wadman and Wes Dicken lead a study of the book, Crazy Love, and David Brock and Cathy Harris lead a study of the book, Have A Little Faith.

Crazy Love was written by Francis Chan.  He challenges readers to not be complacent in their spiritual lives and explains that God is calling us to a passionate love relationship with Him.  Religious complacency doesn’t mean working harder at a list of do’s and don’ts – it’s falling in love with God and when we fall in love with God, we will never be the same.

Have A Little Faith
is by Mitch Albom (author of Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven).  It is the true story of a Jewish rabbi asking Albom to deliver his eulogy although Albom had not been active in the faith for some time.  He agrees to this if he can get better acquainted with the rabbi.  Albom also becomes involved with a Detroit pastor and explores different areas of faith.

The books are available for purchase in the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings or at the Bible Study.  The cost of Crazy Love is $9.00 and Have A Little Faith is $12.00.  Make checks payable to Spiceland Friends Church.

The classes are held on Wednesday evenings through March 24 with dinner at 6:00 P.M. and the study beginning at 6:45 P.M. each week.  The main course and drinks are provided.  Bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share.  Child care is provided.
